Early voting begins October 20. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

At AFT St. Louis Local 420, we stand for strong public schools, respect for working people, and accountability to our communities. This election, we encourage our members, families, and supporters to make their voices heard by supporting the following ballot measure and endorsed candidates.

Vote YES on Amendment 6

Vote YES on 6. The rest are tricks!

Missouri’s citizen initiative process gives voters a direct voice in the decisions that affect our lives. Amendment 6 would strengthen protections for that process, preserve existing petition-signature and majority-vote requirements, and restrict lawmakers’ ability to change voter-approved initiative laws without returning those changes to the people.

AFT Local 420 joins AFT Missouri in encouraging a YES vote on Amendment 6 to protect Missouri voters’ voices.

Share these recommendations with your family, friends, and fellow union members. Make your plan, cast your ballot, and help others do the same.
