Ms. Johnson listened to many different voices including members, non-union members and all of her PSRP coworkers in other unions throughout the district. She is advocating for them all to be paid for Snow Days. We thank Ms. Johnson for listening and being a strong voice at the SLPS Board meeting. We appreciate your fight and your genuine love! We thank the SLPS Board members for listening to our VP of PSRPs and for providing a platform to support the students and their families, the community and all staff members. “It takes ALL of us for ALL of us to THRIVE!” Thank you to all of those that that came but had to leave, those that couldn’t get in the meeting due to only a certain number being let inside and all those that stood in solidarity!

We thank Dr. Schmidt for standing in solidarity with her coworkers in support of them being paid for snow days! Thank you to all that are standing with you. SnowDayPay #InclementWeatherPay

Thank you for your wonderful speech. We thank Ms. Richardson for being a voice for all of her Secretarial/Clerical coworkers in SLPS! “Secretaries are instrumental in the daily operation of the district!” Thank you for giving us the history regarding inclement weather days. Your speech was powerful! Thank you for all those that are standing with you!

The voters in the community choose elected officials to represent them, not apportioned boards by rich privatizers.

We stand with public education as it is a public good! We stand against privately ran businesses trying to run our public schools. These are people that can’t have privately ran business schools in their neighborhoods! Watch those people that come into the underserved neighborhoods fake supporting Black and Brown people. These are the same people that voted against minimum wage. They don’t want underserved areas wages to increase, but they want to support their education! Watch the trickery!

We need to stand up for our democratic elected boards! People have been trying to take the voice away from underserved Black and Brown communities for a long time! We support SLPS! We support our students communities and their families! We support our communities! We support elected boards! We support one another!

Celebrating our students and parents for the amazing work they have done reading with their children before bed.

"Charter Schools were imposed on St. Louis by Jefferson City. Voters didn't vote for their money to be spent on Charter schools in St. Louis. Voters pay into public schools and the community deserves to know where their money is going. What's good for the goose, is good for the gander."
